Food Colouring Bottles

Drop by drop colouring guide

How to mix colours

Our colour guide shows you which colour to use, how much to use and the ratio of one colour to another. For example Rose Pink requires six drops of pink for every one drop of blue. Hansells Food Colourings are proudly made in New Zealand so that you can have more fun with food.

Butter icing recipe

1¼ cups of icing sugar
125g un-salted butter
Beat butter until fluffy and then slowly mix in icing sugar. Add Hansells colouring drop by drop, until you get the colour you want. If mixture becomes runny, add more icing sugar.
